Dear friends usually I am writing and writing and writing… This time I decided to only post some images. These images say it all! Do not expect any affiliate link in the end of this post, for some new exciting promise. All I can show you now is why am I NOT making money on 2011, despite all creative and other boring efforts.
Click Images to see a Full Size View! Believe me, it worth the click!
See those pictures and realize that when trusting on Google organic search engine traffic, there is no business!
While your efforts may goes fine for a while, then at least once in a month, around 4-5 of each month, Google run an algorithm that CUT THE HEAD of any website, that started to gain traffic during the previous month.
In other words – if in the previous 29 days of a month you were doing the right things then expect to be punished in the begining of the next month!
It maybe it sound and naive, but it is based on facts and not on some SEO wisdom from the age of dinosaurs. My websites are tune to very specific traffic (the 5% of those that are ready to buy), with a good and relevant content for this kind of traffic, and with an addition of functionality that provide value beyond what customers get in the on-line store. Yet, a fact is that I am seeing that “traffic fall” happen over and over again. That is a fact!
Another fact is that those sites that are abused by Google are those that succeed! Those that became a source for income. Other websites with lower volume are not affected. Only the ones that show some success!!! That is a fact.
The reason for success is – receiving the exact targeted traffic a site was intend to serve. After Google abuse in sites, not only the number of visitors decrees but the traffic quality is also affected. I can see sites, that after “traffic fall” started to gain some traffic again, but this traffic does not generate and clicks. And why – Google send the wrong traffic! The achievement of classic in-page SEO, that attract the proper traffic to my websites is for some reason in contradiction with Google intention. A complete sabotage!
Sites are then sent to the web desert. And getting back from the desert takes lots of time! – most sites are not coming back, even with hundreds or thousands pages in Goggle index, and even though Google bot keep visiting these sites every day and I keep paying for the bandwidth consumed by Google bot. These are facts! Take a look again.
We all know that the sole web master does not have the resources for generating mega websites from scratch!
If you spend all your time of writing original content, then you maybe can have some limited success with a single website.
Yet, the sole web master can create and maintain up to few decades of small niche websites, when using some level of in-house or purchased automation. Unfortunately it looks like the only model that can work here is the one of “short-term” websites. Meaning, keep generating sites with basic script, and enjoy the short period of success. And keep doing that again and again.
You know, this is funny – I am running a new campaign with a 5 websites, that I plant on October, expecting the climax to arrive on December, that is more successful then and old campaign with almost 30 half year (or more) old sites. Conceptually, the sites in both campaigns are the same!!! (using the same kind of script).
And something else – if the climax of those websites up to last Auguste was 600 visitors a day, that makes a site a steady source for income (small but steady!), then todays climax is not more then 150!!! This is another effect of all the last updates Google apply to its Panda or whatever it is algorithm that is running once or twice a month!
It is all about the impressions a site is allowed to get. Today new sites of mine (of the same conceptual script):
1. Index very fast.
2. Seems to act the same with or without back-links
3. Generally gets less impressions, then their brothers websites, up to August-September
4. And are cut by Google not on 600 visitors/day neither 200 visitors/day BUT 60-120 visitors/day
These are all facts!
